Before getting into this method, just make sure that your Google Home and Google Chrome browser are connected to the same network.

  • Open the Google Chrome browser on your PC. Just make sure it is running on the latest version.
  • Tap on the three dots on the top right side and choose the option of Cast.
  • You will be now shown a list of all the devices that are available to cast.

Method 2. Use Google Home for PC using Android Emulator

Android Emulators let you use Android Apps on PC. Since the Google Home app is not available for Windows, we will have to use an android emulator. There are a number of emulators out there but we will be using Bluestacks emulator.

  • Download and Install Bluestacks emulator for PC.
  • Launch Bluestacks.
  • You will be now prompted to Log In to Google Play.
  • Fill in the credentials.
  • Setup by hitting More and Accept.
  • Once Google Play is installed, open it.
  • Look for and download Google Home App. 

That’s it. You are now all set to use Google Home on PC.

Method 3. Use Google Home on Chromebook

Using Chromebook gives you the advantage of using Google apps. The Google apps will then use the same network to which your Chromebook is connected. Here is how you can use Google Home on Chromebook-
