Samsung should indeed be the first preference of every Android lover if regular security updates are what they are looking for. But now it seems that the Korean Giant is pulling it off for Android 10 update as well.
Just today the Samsung Galaxy M20 & M30 have started receiving stable Android 10 (One UI 2.0) update in India. As of earlier, Samsung said to release the One UI 2.0 update for Samsung Galaxy M20 in early 2020 with the Flagship series of Samsung Galaxy S10.
Originally the M20 series was expected to get Android 10 after Galaxy Note series and S9 duo. However, as the Galaxy S10 series has started receiving the One UI 2.0 stable update in a few regions now, the Galaxy M20 along with Galaxy M30 has also started receving the One UI 2.0 stable update before its claimed and expected date.
For the Galaxy M20, we have the update build number M205FDDU3CSL4 with a giant size of 2022 MB. It also includes the December Security Patch.
For the Galaxy M30, we have a build number of M305FDDU3CSL4 and update size of 1 GB which certainly is lighter than the M20.
Certainly we will be expecting more features and updates in the Galaxy M20 than M30 considering the size of the corresponding updates.
As of now, while you are reading this, many of the Samsung Galaxy M20 and M30 devices will be recieving the One UI 2.0 Android 10 update.
Just note that these updates will be released in batches and hence will be received by users at various times, at times late than a week or more.
We recommend you downloading these software updates on your Samsung Galaxy M20 and M30 devices over a WiFi network since the sizes of these updates is larger.
Happy Androiding:-)
Basically a gamer, I tend to find Android so amusing that ended up creating a blog where I could share with you all that i am aware of and could be. Passion overtook me to an extent that I decided to be a full time technology blogger. Besides gaming, eating sleeping and Androiding is what keeps me going!
