Xiaomi has announced its flagships smartphones in its Redmi K-lineup dubbed Redmi K30 Pro and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. Both of these devices are currently the cheapest Snapdragon 865 SoC devices out there. Xiaomi has launched three devices in the K30 series.
The three devices here include Redmi K30, Redmi K30 Pro, and Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. None of the flagships from the series made it to the country yet. But Redmi K30 was launched in India and in the global market as Poco X2. The Redmi K30 Pro, on the other hand, was launched as Poco F2 Pro but was not launched in India.
Talking about the K30 Zoom Edition, it was merely limited to a few regions. Recently French Engineering and testing company DxOMark got their hands on the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition. As you have understood from the title, the results will be shocking for most of you.
Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition DxOMark
According to DxOMark Camera testing, for scoring and analysis in their review, the engineer and capture to evaluate over 1600 images and more than 2 hours of video in various lighting situations.
As you can see from the image above the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom edition scored 120 points overall. With this, the Redmi K30 Zoom Edition slips into the top 10 in the DxOMark rankings. The K30 Pro Zoom lands just behind the company’s own CC9 Pro which scored 121.
DxOMark mentioned that the ultra-wide camera is a little average. I was a little skeptical about the whole points thing, as the ultra-wide sensors are never too good on any smartphones. With that being said, the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom according to DxO performed better than OnePlus’ latest flagship in many cases.
