Realme 5 gets September 2019 Security Update (Build Number – RMX1911EX_11_A.14)

A new trend that is being followed by many OEMs nowadays is to launch a device into the market and then follow it with huge software updates. Generally, minor bug fixes or latest security patches are what follow such newly dropped devices. Well, this exactly has been the case with the Realme 5 which is now getting the September 2019 Security Update so that the users do not think that the device did not meet up their expectations.

The Realme 5 comes with a 6.5 inches bezel-less display having waterdrop notch. It is splashproof and has a 5000 mAh battery power. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 Octa-core Processor. The September Security Patch for Realme 5 brings along stability enhancements. There has also been an improvement in case of the brightness of the flashlight. The build number of this update is RMX1911EX_11_A.14. The OEM has been continuously busy this month releasing Security patches for Realme X, Realme 2C, and so on.

We recommend you to download this update over a reliable WiFi connection and with a battery of over 50%. A complete back up of your device is always good to be done. You can manually download or check the OTA Update by going to the Settings> System > Advanced> System Updates.
