Last year Google released its flagship devices – Google Pixel 4 and 4 XL. As per the tradition of Pixel phones, Google should now in 2020 launch the Pixel 4a series. However, to believe the rumors going around, Google will be launching only one Pixel 4a device.
These rumors have risen with famous tech YouTuber David Lee’s leaks. According to him, this year Google will not be launching a Pixel 4a series but only one device – Pixel 4a. One reason for this could be the higher sales of the earlier similar series – Pixel 3a than Pixel 3a XL wherein the two had a price difference of $80.
Although David Lee has not confirmed the source of this rumor, it might be quite logical considering the profits made by these devices. If that’s what’s gonna happen, it would be the first time when a Pixel series will not be coming in two sizes.
Whatever that may be, for now, here are the specs of the Pixel 4a device –
Design
Pixel 4a is expected to be smaller than the 3a having the dimensions of 144.2 x 69.5 x 8.2mm with a camera hump of 9mm. In the opinion of Lee a 5.81″ 1080p screen size and resolution is expected. This certainly seems more particular than OnLeaks’s estimated range which was between 5.7″ and 5.8″.
That’s all we could get for you for now. The processor and other specifications of the Pixel 4a remain unknown as of now. However, it is being expected that the device resembles Pixel 4 in a broader way.
