Nokia is one of the very old and popular mobile brands that is getting lost in the world of new trends, Chinese OEMs and other nascent competitors. However, it is still striving hard to get back in the game. With the failed attempts of bringing Windows OS to Launching a Linux based platform, Nokia felt off the bridge.
However, a couple of years ago, the HMD Global took over the license to release Nokia branded devices. HMD was given the required patents as well as feature phone software and then came into the picture the Android Nougat 18.104.22.168 based Nokia 6.
According to a CounterPoint study, Nokia, even though a weak competitor in the areas of features and popularity, was a great performer than any other brand in the Android market. This was from the latest Android version from the month of August 2018. In the case of the Security Patches as well, Nokia has been performing amazingly.
