What is Recovery Mode?

Android devices come with Google’s recovery environment, this is also known as “stock recovery.” You can boot to the recovery system by pressing device-specific buttons as your Android device or use ADB command that boots your device to recovery mode.
How to Enter into Recovery Mode on Oppo Phone:
There are two methods by which you can enter the Recovery mode of Oppo Phone. However, you need to have the root access of your Oppo Phone in order to perform the second method for entering the Recovery Mode on Oppo Phone. You can perform any one of the following as per your convenience.

Method 1: How to enter Recovery Mode in Oppo Phone through Key Combinations-
Step 1. For using Key Combinations to enter the Recovery Mode of Oppo Phone, you will first have to switch your device off.
Enter Recovery Mode on Google or Nexus:
Step 1. Hold for a few seconds, the Power key and then Select Power Off. Or you can also hold it for a few more seconds until the device turns off.
Step 2. Now press and hold Power Key and Volume Down Key.
Step 3. For navigation through the menu options, you use the Volume Up and Volume Down keys. The Power Key is used to make a selection. Now Press the volume down twice and you should see the Recovery Mode in red up at the top right. To select it, press the Power Key.
Step 4. The Logo of Google in white will appear on the screen followed by the Android Mascot on his back again with the Words, No Command Underneath.
Step 5. Press and hold the Power key and the Volume up key for around three seconds, and then let go of the Volume up key, but keep pressing Power Key.
Step 6. You should see the Android System Recovery Options appear at the top of the screen. And use the Volume keys to highlight the options and the Power key to select the one you wish to.
Enter Recovery Mode on LG:
For the LG G6, G5, G4, V10, V20 and other LG phones, you can get it into recovery mode by following the guide below:
Step 1. To begin with, switch your LG power off.
Step 2. Press and hold the Power key and Volume button simultaneously.
Step 3. When the LG logo appears, release the keys. Then, immediately press the Power and Volume button again until the Hard Reset menu displays.
Step 4. Once the menu showed, use Volume keys to highlight an option and press Power button to confirm hard reset.
Now, your LG is in the Recovery Mode.
Enter Recovery Mode on Galaxy:
Step 1. Press down the Power key and select the Power off option. If the screen is frozen or unresponsive, you can hold down the Power key for several seconds until the device switches off, or pull the battery where possible.
Step 2. Now press and hold the Power key, the Volume up key, and the Home button together. Release when you see the Samsung logo. You can select the option you want from the menu using the Volume keys to highlight and the Power key to select.
Enter Recovery Mode on HTC:
Step 1. Go to “Settings > Battery” on your HTC Oppo Phone and uncheck the option that says FASTBOOT.
Step 2. Power off the smartphone and wait for about five seconds until it completely switches off.
Step 3. Then, press and hold Volume- button and press the Power key.
Step 4. When you can see the new menu appears on the screen, release the keys. Use the Volume down button to navigate to the options in Bootloader Mode, and confirm “Recovery” option with Power button.
Thus, you can get into Recovery Mode on Oppo Phone.
Method 2: How to enter Recovery Mode in Oppo Phone through ADB (Root Access Required)-
Step 1. Firstly, download and install ADB and Fastboot tools on your Computer or PC.
Step 2. Now install the proper USB Drivers on your PC for your Oppo Phone.
Step 3. Activate the USB Debugging on your device.
Step 4. Now Connect your device with your Computer through appropriate USB Cables.
Step 5. For testing the connectivity, you can make use of the command given below.
Step 6. The above command should give you outputs such as- List Of Devices Attached……….. Device.
Step 7. Now to get into recovery mode use the following command,
adb reboot recovery
You have successfully entered the Recovery Mode on Oppo Phone.
Method 3: How to enter Recovery Mode in Oppo Phone through Third Party Applications:
You can also enter the recovery mode of Oppo Phone by simply installing third-party applications available all over the market and also on Google Play Store. Some of which include Reboot Manager. But for most of the times, the obligation is to have the root access to your device.
Features of Recovery Mode:
The options you are presented with may vary depending on your device, but there are certain standards that are always there. You can always choose from:
Install: On custom recoveries, you can install apps and also firmware in recovery mode if the packages or files are saved in your phone in advance.
Reboot System: This will restart the device normally.
Update from ADB: The Android Debug Bridge allows you to plug your device into your PC and issue commands from there. It is customized for developers and asks you to install the Android SDK i.e. Software Development Kit.
Factory Reset or Wipe data: This would wipe all of your data including photos, videos, music, apps, everything and return your phone to its original factory condition. This would also wipe the cache partition.
Wipe cache partition: This is temporary system data largely related to installations of apps, and you can delete it without losing any personal data or even settings. Wiping the cache partition can solve a host of issues and you will not lose any data or settings, so there is no real risk involved in it.
