How to Enable 960FPS Slow Mode and Macro Mode on OnePlus 7 Pro

Prerequisites

Enable 960FPS Slow Mode on OnePlus 7 Pro

You will need a rooted OnePlus 7 Pro device with the latest Camera version and running on the latest Beta channel. Although a few users could successfully attempt this method on a stable version, the Beta channel is recommended. Assuming you have followed all the prerequisites we can now begin the method.

  • Open the Download Preferences Manager app that you downloaded from the link mentioned above.
  • Give this app Required Root permissions.
  • Tap on the menu present as three dots on the top left corner.
  • Tap on Show System Application.
  • Scroll down and tap on the Camera application.
  • We will now have to add strings in this camera app so as to enable 960FPS Slow motion.
  • We will have to modify the CameraInfo_0.xml and the CameraInfo_5.xml preferences files of the stock camera app. For this, we will add a new string.
  • Tap on the “+” icon present at the top right corner.
  • Then tap on String Set and under Key, type – Video960FpsSizes with the value 1280x720.
  • Lastly, tap on add.
  • Make sure you have added the string set for both the XML files, individually.
