  • On your Windows PC, open Microsoft Word. You can do so by simply searching Word in Start menu.
  • Once Mircosoft Word Open, at the top, click on the File bar. 
  • From the options, click on Account.
  • Here, from the Office Update section, you can change the Automatic Updates Settings.
  • In case the Auto Update option is not enabled, you will see “This product will not be updated” message on the screen.
  • To change this, click on Update Options and from the drop-down menu, choose the option to enable automatic updates.

How to enable Automatic updates for Microsoft Office apps on Windows 10?

  • On your Windows PC, open Microsoft Word. You can do so by simply searching Word in Start menu.

  • Here, from the Office Update section, you can change the Automatic Updates Settings.
  • In case the Auto Update option is enabled, and you wish to change it, Simply click on Update Options and from the drop-down menu, choose the option to Disable automatic updates.
