No matter what Android device you are using, even if you are a nascent Android user, you will, in no time, know the importance of ADB and Fastboot Commands that are essential in the process of rooting. If you want to reboot your Android device into different modes or unlock the bootloader or flash a partition image, ADB and Fastboot commands make a prerequisite.
As much useful these tools are, they are equally intricate to handle since the Installation of ADB and your PC is always a two-step process that requires users to 1. install USB Drivers for your Android device and 2. install the ADB and Fastboot binaries. Which implies that one will have to download the Android SDK Platform-tools package from Google and then set up the system path for easy access to ADB without navigating to the ADB Folder.
Not all of us are okay with this complicate process every single time we need to use the tools. But do not worry anymore as I have got a solution for you all. In this article, we are sharing the Minimal ADB and Fastboot tool that one can use anytime they want by simply double-clicking on the folder. Want to know more about it? What are ADB & Fastboot?
ADB and Fastboot are Android platform tools. ADB which is the abbreviation for Android Debugging Bridge is a platform that comprises a set of binaries which enables your PC to communicate with the Android device that you have connected through a command-line terminal.
Fastboot is a protocol that one can use to re-flash partitions on your Android device. It comes with Android SDK i.e., Software Development Kit. It is used as an alternative mode to the Recovery Mode for installations and updates.
Fastboot protocol is used when the device is booted into the Bootloader Mode also called as ‘Fastboot Mode’. And the ADB protocol is used when a device is booted into main Android OS with enabled Developer Options and USB Debugging.
