Xiaomi Mi A3 September Security Update Live, users waiting for Android 10 OS

Google has released its Android OS 10 and its just been a couple of days for that and here we have the Xiaomi Mi A3 receiving September Security Update. Google has been working over this OS since March 2019 and it has also included some other manufacturers in the Beta program so that they can have time enough to work over releasing the updates on time to the Android 10.

The Xiaomi and Essential phones are the only ones in the market that have managed to get the OS rollout on the day Google released it. It wasn’t much of a surprise in case of the Essential phone but when the Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro was blessed with the Latest OS, it certainly was a shocking surprise. K20 Pro has received a stable MIUI 10 based Android 10 Update.

Now coming to the other and the Android One Program of Google, not one Device and not even from Nokia has got this update. Sad but true! However, this is no measure of calculating the professionalism of these Android One devices. They may be lagging behind right now but might also be coming robust ahead.

Take for example one of the phones – Xiaomi Mi A3, which is now receiving the September 2019 Security Update, is based on Android 9 P. The September security patch is coming as a part of Android 10 Stable update but that’s not the case here. This does leave a room for us to hope that Xiaomi will be soon releasing the Android 10 OS Update for MI A3.

While the MI A3 Security update is on it’s way, users are questioning about the Android 10 OS. The September security patch comes in a weight of 105 MB implying it is a casual monthly update. Being an OTA Update, it may take a few days to weeks to reach out to all the users.

We do expect some bug fixes and improvements in performance through this update. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Happy Androiding 🙂
