Update : 14 January
As per the going around leaks, a Twitter user, @Techdroider has shared an image as below-
The Mi 10 shows a curved sides display screen with a quad camera setup on the back which might come with a 20MP, 12MP and 5MP array.
Another Twitter user @BenGeskin has shared the possible concept image of Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro in accordance with the leaks.
The same user has also shared the renders of Xiaomi Mi 10 as well –
In both the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, one significant change is the Camera. Looks like every smartphone brand is following Samsung and giving upon the pop up camera. One possible reason for this could be the 5G chipsets that are larger and there’s no space left for the pop up mechanism.
From all the three renders it is evident that Only the Pro variant will have a curved design of the screen. The camera in both the devices is placed vertically which is expected to be 108MP+48MP+12Mp+8MP quad setup for Mi 10 Pro.
The curved sides on both the devices will make them less exposed to damages. The devices somewhat look like a S10 front fused with a Note 10 back. However as these are just renders, it would be too soon to judge.
Both the above probable images aren’t the official images of Xiaomi Mi 10 or Mi 10 Pro. These have been designed based on the leaks so far. However they do give an idea of what the phone might actually look like.
Update 17 January
The latest official Xiaomi Mi 10 poster is now out and heres all you need to know about it. A poster was leaked on Weibo, which however is quite dubious for its reality, but has shown the launch date of Mi 10 as February 11.
Although there are more chances of this poster to be fake but it is quite obvious considering Samsung will be unveiling its latest flagship Galaxy S20.
Apart from the date shown on the poster, we also see the rear part of the design. This rear part shown in the poster is quite similar to the Alpha Mi MIX in the wraparound strip like a ribbon wrapped around a gift box.
This strap also houses the camera setup. The sides of the device come in curved format. The Volume and Power keys are placed to the right side. While the camera includes a LED flash after two lenses. This is followed by a third 108-megapixel sensor which is expected to have the features of laser autofocus and a fourth lens.
