The Tetris Company and N3TWORK will be working together to develop new Tetris games for mobile devices, and the first product of the partnership is Tetris Royale.
The debut title, Tetris Royale, will include the hallmark 100-player battle mode. Players will compete for top spots on the leaderboards every season. It sounds pretty similar to Tetris 99 for Switch, but it could reach more players, as you won’t need a dedicated console. The classic mode will include daily challenges in which players can earn rewards, like customization options and power-ups. The game will offer massive daily competitions with thousands of players, as well as Solo marathon mode, where you can spend hours preparing for battle.
Neil Young, founder and CEO of N3TWORK said Tetris is a timeless pop culture icon that has shaped the history of videogames and is truly loved around the world. Our team is inspired to partner with this incredible brand and create new ways for millions of mobile game players around the world to play, compete and enjoy Tetris at an unprecedented scale.
Both the companies are partnering for a multi-year deal, so multiple games can be expected from them. All these games will be built for mobile devices for now. Tetris Royale is being developed for Android and iOS with beta testing beginning this year itself. It’s going to be available worldwide apart from China and the final version will be released in 2020.
The studio has not yet released any screenshots of the game in action, so there is not really not much to go on outside of the sparse details. Hopefully, more information will come to light as we inch closer to the limited beta.

Basically a gamer, I tend to find Android so amusing that ended up creating a blog where I could share with you all that i am aware of and could be. Passion overtook me to an extent that I decided to be a full time technology blogger. Besides gaming, eating sleeping and Androiding is what keeps me going!
