Method 1: Restart explorer.exe process to Fix Taskbar Showing Full Screen 

Step 1: Launch the Windows Task Manager by simply pressing the keys Ctrl + Shift + ESC.

Step 2: You must ensure that you are on the Processes tab of Task Manager.

Step 3: Locate the Windows Explorer process. If you already have an explorer running in the background then the process must have already started running in the explorer at the top of the lost.

Step 4: If in case you do not have the active Explorer then you might scroll through the page in order to find the required process.

Step 5: You have an option either to choose to end the option and restart the computer to restart the process itself. It is recommended for you to wait and restart the process itself.

Step 6: Now in the textbox type explorer.exe and press ok button to restart the process.

Method 2: Check for Windows Update to Fix Taskbar Showing Full Screen 

Step 1: Open the Windows Settings by pressing the keys Windows + I.

Step 2: Now select the option Update & Security
