While talking of updates this year, it has been a hard time on a number of phone brands including some of the very popular devices like Motorola Moto Z2 or the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and similar is the case with the Sprint Galaxy S10. The former devices had to undergo a roll back update because of some issues with the Android 9 Pie update.
But worry not despite of all the issues outraging, the Sprint Galaxy S10 June update finally gets live and it brings along Camera Night mode and much more. All the Sprint Galaxy S10 units – S10e/ S10/ S10+ will be receiving this update in the month of July ending. This OTA Update has a size of 510 MB.
The Build tag of this update is ASG8 where the G stands for the sign that this update was compiled in July. This is quite different from the usual where the build numbers are ASF7 or ASF6, etc.
And another major thing about this update is that it has also changed the bootloader version from v1 to v3 and hence downgrading it to the older versions will not be possible now.
The features that this OTA Update has brought with it together is the Night mode and QR Code scanning through the in-built camera of the phone. Considering the time the June update took to roll out, we guess there won’t be any July update any time soon.
Stay tuned for more such updates!
Basically a gamer, I tend to find Android so amusing that ended up creating a blog where I could share with you all that i am aware of and could be. Passion overtook me to an extent that I decided to be a full time technology blogger. Besides gaming, eating sleeping and Androiding is what keeps me going!
