Samsung Galaxy Fold is not any new to us considering the previous leaks and speculations. Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 was leaked a couple of times in the past showing off the entire design in some high-quality renders. Last year’s Fold is a great device but mostly an experimental one. Now, a new report comes to us from a popular YouTuber who confirms that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 pricing starts at Rs 1,84,990 or 2500$.
The information comes from the popular YouTuber Sandeep Sarma aka RevAtlas who took it to Twitter saying that the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 pricing starts at a whopping 184k mark. Sandeep has quoted…
Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will retail at a price of Rs. 1,84,990 in India. Units will be on a first come first serve pre-orer basis with only 1000 units coming in total in the first batch for entire India.
If this indeed pans out, could also mean that the Fold 2 would be more expensive than the first gen by around 100$ internationally.

Sandeep further added that the device comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865/865+ SoC like the international variant. Now, this is definitely a great thing considering Samsung has always followed a habit of releasing the devices with Exynos SoC in a few regions including India. The previous rumors did confirm that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series will launch with Qualcomm SoC in the US, but Indias still will get the Exynos variant.
It has also been mentioned that Note 20 Ultra will start at Rs 95,990. This is cheaper than the S20 Ultra’s pricing when launch. Galaxy S20 Ultra might get a price cut once the Note 20 ultra is launched. Considering all this, Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 would be more expensive than the original Fold by around 100$ internationally.
Regardless of all this, Samsung might unveil the Galaxy Fold 2 alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series during the Galaxy Unpacked event which is going to take place online due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The first-ever online Unpacked event is going to happen on August 5th.
