Ever since the Samsung Galaxy Fold was announced we have been seeing quite a lot of speculations and rumors around the possible Galaxy Fold 2. Galaxy Fold 2 is not new to us anymore as the device has been in the rumor mill for quite a while now. Now, a new report by South Korean publication has revealed the key details of the device.

The report comes to us from ETNews which states that the Galaxy Fold 2 has an inner screen of 7.7-inches and the comes with a Y-OCTA technology S-AMOLED display. Not just that, the refresh rate of the inner display could possibly be 120Hz. The screen will have an ultra-thin glass coating. Both the displays have the punch-hole display notches. The Galaxy Fold 2 is expected to launch with a side-facing fingerprint sensor. The report reveals that the Galaxy Fold 2 will have a 10-megapixel front-facing camera. The reports suggested that the Galaxy Fold 2 will be launched alongside Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Tab S7 series, Galaxy Flip, Galaxy Buds X and Watch 3 during the Galaxy Unpacked event which is going to take place online on August 5th. But a reliable tipster recently revealed that Fold 2 will not be announced next month during the Unpacked event.
We might not get to see the S Pen support this time. We can expect this to happen with the Galaxy Fold 3, for which Samsung is working closely with Corning to make a glass for Galaxy Fold 3. Regardless of that, tech enthusiasts will always welcome modular phones like Fold.
