Reliance Orbic RC545L: It is a know fact that Reliance Jio and Google are in a partnered deal since July and we have been seeing quite a lot of leaks and speculations around the upcoming entry-level device. A few days back, we have got an official confirmation that Reliance is planning to bring back its Orbic smartphone series and they are planning to unveil three devices for the first instalment namely Jio Orbic Myra 5G, Orbic Magic 5G, and Orbic Maui.

Now, a new Google Play console listing has revealed the key specifications of an Orbic device with the model number RC545L. This listing was first spotted by Mukul Sharma aka @stufflistings on Twitter. Although we are not sure whether this is Myra or Magic, but the device runs Android 10 Go Edition out of the box. The Go Edition of Android, as most of you already know, is primarily aimed at the mid-range entry-level devices.
The device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon QM215 SoC which is an old chipset and is made for the Android Go devices. The device features 720 x 1440 display with HD+ resolution and the pixel density here is 320PPI. Adreno 306 handles the graphic duties and again, nothing fancy here. Although the render seems miles far from the actuality, it looks like a display with 18:9 aspect ratio with arguably thicker bezels and chin.
Reliance Industry’s will be the first ones among the smartphone manufacturers to release the devices with the latest network tech. We previously have seen the company launching its 4G smartphones under LYF branding.
But, we all know how the story of LYF has ended. Although they have launched decent devices, due to the competition their sales have fallen down. With the launch of mid-rangers like Redmi Note 3 Pro and 3s series, they have stopped launching and discontinued LYF brand. For those who did not know, before LYF, Reliance Industries used to launch phones under Orbic branding. But those Orbic devices mostly feature phones.
Now with the relaunch of Orbic, we can expect the company to bring various entry-level and mid-range devices. But there is no word about the flagships under this branding. As for the pricing, we can expect this device to come around 3000-4000 rupees segment and again, it is too soon to say anything.
