Realme never lags behind when it comes to updates. Just the previous month we experienced a huge number of Realme devices getting the Android security updates for November 2019 accompanied with enhancements in the ColorOS, the very own custom skin of Realme.
Now Realme has moved a month ahead while rolling the latest ColorOS updates coupled with December 2019 security patch levels. Realme U1, Realme 3 Pro, Realme 1 have already got the latest Color OS 6 update and now it seems that the time has come for Realme XT and Realme C2 to get the updates.
The December 2019 Security Update for Realme XT and Realme C2 has come along with the latest Color OS 6.0.1 that in all include enhancements to the Camera and Notifications as well. For the Realme C2, it has additionally brought some bug fixes as well as a new flash on call feature.
Here is the Update log for Realme XT –
- Security:
- Android security patch: December 2019
- Notification Center and Status Bar:
- Added fast switch toggles of dark mode in the notification center
- Camera:
- Updated nightscape algorithm of the front camera, fixed the probabilistic black spot issue
- Theme Store:
- Updated font change supporting in Theme Store
- Known issue fixed:
- Fixed the issue of app startup animation splash screen when white wallpaper
Here goes the changelog for Realme C2 –
- Security:
- Android security patch: December 2019
- Launcher
- Added click the blank area to back to the launcher on recent task interface
- Notification Center and Status Bar:
- Added fast switch toggles of dark mode in the notification center
- Settings:
- Added flash on call feature
- Known issue fixed:
- Fixed the issue of volume bar blocked by the camera while the horizontal status
Both these phones’ updates have now started rolling out in India. These updates will be released in patches and hence we request you to be patient.
You can flash these updates through your device by going to the Settings> System> Software Updates> Check for updates> tap on updates to install. However, you will generally get a notification at the arrival of the update on your device.
