There is no challenge when it comes to releasing security updates when comparing with Realme. The OEM has been literally creating competitors for its newer models by constantly updating the older ones. Within a short span of just a year and a half, Realme has launched over a dozen phones and all of which seem to be amazing to me.
The latest Flagship of Realme is the Realme XT. When you look closely, you will notice that the Realme XT is just an upgrade of the Realme X. The Realme X comes with an Android 9.0 Pie and soon will be tasting the latest Android 10 OS. A few weeks ago itself, it received the September 2019 Security Patch for the Chinese Units. The featured part about this update was that it came with a huge changelog.
And now the Realme X September 2019 Security Update is now live for the units in India. However, the changelog will not be just identical to the one found in the units of the parent country. There could be variations from country to country. We have not yet got our hands on the changelog but certainly, the Company’s official Forum has hinted on the presence of Digital Wellbeing.
This September Security Update for Realme X units of India comes in a size of 2.77 GB and some amazing features. We could see the status bar notification prompt mode, holiday alarm clock function, and some other great features in the Chinese Update and now the eyes are on Indian September Security update for Realme X. However, in the Chinese version, a few bugs like the camera lag relating to the 48 MP Mode is still prevailing.

It was yesterday when the OTA update has started rolling out and it may still take some more time to roll out to all the Realme X units in India. But if you can’t wait for the notification to pop up on your phone, you can still download the update from the links mentioned above.
