Realme never lags behind while coming to Security or any sort of updates. The older updates are no lesser than the latest phones from the OEM. With over a dozen or above phones in just a year, Realme is all set to challenge its veteran competitors. The new member to the latest Security Update club is the Realme C2.
Just recently Realme pushed an OTA Update for the September Security Patch for Realme X and now its time for another one. The Realme C2 was launched with Android 9.0 Pie as the base. Realme C2 is now receiving the September 2019 Security Patch and is also bringing along some really cool features. The build number of this update is RMX1941EX_11.A.17.
The Security Patch has brought along the Digital Wellbeing from Google. Optimization in the lock screen Clock Widget will also be seen after this update. Reportedly, there have been tweaks in the Smart Assistance feature of the phone as well.
There is an appearance of a renovated Notification Center. All the user needs to do is swipe right or left in order to vanish a text message notification. This all means that now the Realme C2 Users can lock the device by long press of the power button.
Not just that but the limit of the speed of active devices that are connected through Hotspot can also be determined by the user. The amount of data consumed by the associated users can also be tracked down by the Realme C2 User. There has been an addition of a reminder to set and notify the user after devoting certain data amount.
According to the Realme Official Forum, the update has now been rolled out and just like any other OTA Update, this one will take some time to reach out to all its users. One can manually download the update by going to the Settings> System Update option.
We recommend you to download this update over a WiFi connection and with a battery percentage of over 50. This will ensure a smooth update and no issues.
Stay Tuned for more such updates.
Happy Androiding 🙂
