It has been three days since the launch of OnePlus Nord and it has received the update for the second time. Well, OnePlus Nord is one of the most anticipated smartphones in recent times. OnePlus, after years had entered the mid-range smartphone market. To recall, OnePlus X is their last mid-range device.
Bringing back the story to OnePlus, the Chinese tech giant has unveiled the device alongside the OnePlus Buds in an AR event on July 21. Right after the official launch, the device got its first update which was shared by a lot of tech influencers and bloggers.
Now, two days after the launch, OnePlus sent out the second update to the OnePlus Nord, making it one of the fastest devices to receive the update before its official availability. The size of the update here is 143 MB and it looks like they have fixed a few issues here and there.
The update name is mentioned as Oxygen OS 10.5.2.AC01DA and comes with system and camera stability fixes. According to the changelog or the update information, as mentioned earlier, it optimizes two areas which include the camera and system. This is the July security patch update
As far as the system changelogs are considered, the update adds in the newly adapted OnePlus Buds firmware, which is easier to take advantage of wireless connection. Like any other device, OnePlus Nord also comes with a pre-installed application called Dailyhunt. With this update, the app now supports 90Hz display refresh rate.
The update also optimized the video calling performance. Now, this gets confusing as the device comes with Google Dailer which has the Duo integration. If it is Duo, Google has to fix this, if that is the case why should OnePlus add that into the changelog?
Well, regardless of that, general issues are fixed to add in the overall system stability into count. Once you update OnePlus Nord with this version, you can use full-fledged 4K 60 FPS videos on the front camera.
