Motorola Moto G7 & G7 Plus June security update rolls out

One of the major mobile phones is the Motorola. The OEM has a remarkable history of releasing the first mobile phone. Since then, from the year 1983, it has been offering various services to the world. However, as every business has its good and bad days, it became difficult for Motorola at the time of crisis. And this is how Google acquired the Motorola Mobility and the search engine Titan came into the picture.

Despite of severe efforts, Motorola could not come into the race again. Once such example was the release of Moto G series which further was extended by adding Variants – Moto G7, G7 Play, G7 Plus and G7 Power.To keep the users engaged, Motorola released the OTA Security update for G7 Power. However, the June Security patch of this update was quite a disappointment.

Nevertheless, Motorola Moto G7 & G7 Plus June security update rolls out now. The Moto G7 was released back in February this year. It is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 chipset coupled with 4 GB RAM and has the display of 6.2-inch full HD+ LCD. The storage of 64 GB can be further extended to 1 TB with the help of an external SD Card. The device has a 12 MP primary camera and a 5MP Depth sensor.

These were the few major specifications of the Moto G7. Both, the G7 and G7 Plus have started receiving the update. However, it may take some time for all the devices to get this update. Now coming to the Changelog, there is no any major change as we could notice. Similar to the G7 Power, the updates for these two variants too consists of a few stability improvements and June security patch.

The update build number for the Moto G7 is PPO29.114-134 and that for Moto G7 Plus is PPW29.98-111. The size of these updates depends on the version you install. The updates, like any other will be rolled out in patches and hence, the Moto G7 & G7 Plus users will have to wait until they receive the update.
