Motorola Moto G6 gets Android P 9.0 update on US unlocked variants

Motorola is the US phone manufacture that has introduced to the world a great range of mobile phones. One of its major launches is the Motorola Moto G6. This Moto G6 device comes with a Snapdragon 450 processor. Originally, the device cam with Android Oreo 8.1 but later it was bumped into Android Pie 9.0 version. The US Carrier of this device was the first to release the update.

In the previous attempts, the Moto Z2 was upgraded to another version through the May Security Update but it got cancelled for the US Carriers.  The same went with the Moto G6 users. The Security Patch was released but users on other carrier unlocked and locked did not receive the update.

However, the wait is now over. The US Variants of Motorola Moto G6 have now started getting the Android Pie 9.0 update. But as you might know, the Firmware updates come in batches and hence, it may take some time for the update to roll out on your device.
