LG has been trying to make its place in the Smartphone market and with phones like the LG G7 ThinQ, it has been quite successful as well. While the LG G7 ThinQ received the latest Android Pie 9.0 Update in their Home country at the start of this year and later it was also seen in the US Cellular, Verizon, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, etc. mobile carriers.
However, the most awaiting Android update has not been yet introduced to the Indian users. Is LG not concerned about us Indians? What is taking so long inspite of having an update center? Many such quetions have been raised by the LG G7 users in India. It has been 6 months since the Korean ‘Home-town’ Update but there is nothing in the air about Indian phones update.
Even phones lower and less preferred than LG G7 have got Android P Updates. But the Indian LG G7 users have not got to taste the Android Pie yet. It is understandable that the LG G7 is concerned about budget settlement in India and that update releases vary as per the region and the carrier, but 6 months is a time that needs some real explanation.
With so many questions popping-up, LG has finally spoken on this and says that they are planning to launch and update soon. Now it would be noteworthy how soon this update is going to be with the Koreans’ point of view.
We hope the LG G7 ThinQ Users will get the pie soon. Stay tuned for Updates.
