To translate text, Google has added – Google Lens on KaiOS on which JioPhone runs. Thus now Indian smart Featured phone – JioPhone can use Google Lens to translate a text by pointing camera lens towards it.
In the year 2017, India’s popular JioPhone hit the Android market and brought along a new wave of Smart Featured Phones. The device having based on KaiOS and now again come into the limelight as Google has yet again added a new feature to it.
The new feature for JioPhone has come after Google invested $4.5 billion for a 7.7% stake in Jio Platforms, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited. It wasn’t long ago that Google announced launching 4G and 5G budget-friendly smartphones with Jio.
JioPhone is a smart features phone which is way more affordable than many Smartphones. With the currently prevailing Pandemic conditions and everything shifting online, Smartphones have somewhat become a necessity of life. JioPhones are simply a boon with minimum price and maximum features.

Google Lens on KaiOS JioPhone to Translate Text
Google Lens is yet another amazing feature from Google that let’s users translate a text by pointing the camera towards it. This has been helpful certainly for millions. And now with the introduction of Google Lens to KaiOS and JioPhone, many can take advantage of it.
All one has to do is point the camera at text they see, whichever form it may be- Document, letter, script, etc. and then Lens will translate it into more than 100 languages. The Lens can also speak the words out loud in preferred languages.

It has become now simpler to use Google assistant on Jiophone. All one has to do is – simply long press the center button from the home screen and you are all set to get started with Assistant. As of now, the Translation is available in languages like English, Marathi, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, and so on but will soon be available for many other languages.
