Method 1.  Restart Device/ Router

  • Then tap on About phone.
  • Now select the option of Device name.
  • Change the device name to the one you want and select OK.
  • Now try reconnecting to the router.

  • Go to Settings on your Android phone
  • Tap on Connections > WiFi.
  • Now tap on the WiFi Network and then select Forget Network.
  • Now try to reconnect to a network and under the Password section, choose Advanced.
  • Then from the drop-down menu, choose IP Settings.
  • Then tap on Static.

  • Now in the IP Address section, change the last digit of your IP address to any number from 1 to 225.
  • Lastly, tap on Save and try reconnecting to the WiFi Network.

Method 7. Switch to WPA2-PSK encryption
