How to Update POCO F1 to Android 10?
- Whenever you perform any method or procedure that involves the system, like rooting and flashing, it is mandatory that you take a complete device data backup. Although there are very negligible chances that your device data will be lost while installing an OTA update but precaution is always better.
- You should have a POCO F1 device. Do not try to follow the below method on any other device even if it is a Xiaomi device. OTA updates are designed for that particular device and inducing them to other devices might cause damage to it.
- Make sure that you have the Previous Android 9 version on your Poco F1.
- Make sure to have a battery power of at least 60%. You do not want to repeat the entire process from the beginning only because your device did not have enough power and it switched off during the process.
Step 1. To begin with, Download the Android 10 MIUI 11 OTA update zip file from the links mentioned above.
Step 3. Move this file to your phone storage in the root directory and not in any folder. If that does not work, put the file in the folder ‘download_rom’.
Step 4. Now launch the updater app on your Poco F1. Or simply navigate to settings > about phone > system updates.
Step 5. Now tap on three dots on the top right corner and select the ROM package.
Step 6. Select the Android OTA zip that you downloaded. It will then decrypt and update your Poco phone.
That is it. You are done here. Soon the Android 10 version OS will be booted on your Poco F1.
