Just like the convention goes every year, the forthcoming year will also be starred by the launch of the next OnePlus flagship – OnePlus 8. This awaited device will be launched in the coming year. As OnePlus goes by the rule of launching smartphones every 6 months, it is expected that the OnePlus 8 will be launched somewhere near April 2020. As the trend continues for leaked images of upcoming phones and related stuff, we have also seen the leaks of OnePlus 8.
It is expected that the OnePlus 8 will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 chipset and the next generation GPU possibly Adreno 650. We do not have much information regarding the device for now but one thing we know with certainty is that the device will have the Android 10 OS or later and will be based on the Oxygen OS 10+.
Accordingly, there seems to be a punch-hole camera cutout on the display just like the Samsung Galaxy S10 series devices and a curved screen. Along with that, OnePlus also ditched the round camera setup similar to the OnePlus 7T & stick with a linear camera setup in the regular OnePlus 8.
The OnePlus CEO had promised that all the upcoming OnePlus phones will have a 90Hz display or more. Reportedly, OnePlus 8 may go with the Infinity-0 display. Considering all of the above, hopefully, as always, the OnePlus 8 might be lower in price as a result of the reduction in manufacturing costs.
