I’m sure most of you are very well aware of Magisk. If not used, then you certainly know what an amazing app it is. In case you don’t, let me tell you. Magisk is a rooting app using which Android devices can be rooted to take over all the admin level rights and control.
Although we do have other rooting apps like SuperSU, Magisk stands to be the best and most reliable one. What makes it different is the features that it brings along.
When you root your Android device using Magisk, you can easily operate apps like Banking, games like PokemonGO, etc. This is possible because of the feature called Magisk Hide. Basically, your device’s root gets hidden when you apply this feature.
So even if you have a rooted device, you can still bypass safety net checks of a number of processes including OTA updates. Now you do not have to unroot your device every time at the arrival of a new OTA update or miss on it, you can easily install any OTA update on your device without worrying about the root.
The developer of Magisk, topjohnwu, created Magisk v20.1 with support for Android 10 OS. The next v20.2 came with a number of changes and operations one of which was the communication of MagiskSU between daemon and application. To support this, the Magisk Manager 7.5.1 apk was released too.
However, this v20.2 came with some major bugs that needed to be addressed. Not just that but it also came into the limelight that the Magisk v20.2 was not compatible with LG phones totally. It created some issues on LG devices. And hence the developer thought of creating a hotfix for this version as Magisk Hotfix v20.3. To support this, the Magisk Manager was also updated from 7.5.0 to 7.5.1 APK.
