Airtel, India’s one of the most widespread network operators had started its WiFi calling service in the capital of the country – Delhi. The VoWiFi service from Airtel has now hit the financial capital of India – Mumbai.
Update 1 – After Airtel opened its VoWiFi calling service for Mumbai, it has now expanded the service area by addition of 4 new locations to the list of cities that will be experiencing the WiFi calling over Airtel broadband or Airtel Xtream Fiber. The new locations that are included for this service are – Kolkata, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
The VoWiFi service makes it possible for the Airtel users to conduct high quality calls over their WiFi connections. This service offers users clear audio quality, says Airtel. It also ensures faster call connections.
To use this service, it is mandatory to have compatible phones that support Aitrel VoWiFi along with a connection to either Airtel Xstream Fibre Network or Airtel Broadband.
Now, this amazing service has been started in Mumbai as well. So people having the below-mentioned devices from Mumbai and Delhi can use the WiFi calling at their homes or offices to get high quality calling on Airtel broadband.

How to enable Airtel VoWiFi calling?
For an iPhone –
Go to Settings > Mobile Data > WiFi Calling
Samsung devices –
Samsung users can just enable WiFi calling from the Quick Settings Panel
Xiaomi users can navigate over to Settings > SIM cards and Mobile Networks > Airtel > Make Calls using WiFi.
OnePlus devices –
Firstly, go to Settings > Mobile Network > SIM 1 or SIM 2 > WiFi Calling.
Once you do the above for your respective devices, all you have to do is reboot your device. Then you will see the VoWiFi icon on your screen.
